Where to submit your articles for maximum effect
Posted Under: Affiliate marketing for dummies, Article Marketing
Once you have written your article (see Effective affiliate marketing using articles ) you need to submit it to as many places as possible.
Now before you even think of submitting any articles you must make sure that there aren’t any spelling mistakes so run it through your spell checker, and also check that your links are correct.
Now you can manually submit articles for free, however, after you have submited to half a dozen sites you will be getting pretty fed up, there is an alternative though that is also free but will save you alot of time, and that’s article submission software.
The software I recommend is article submitter from Brad Callen. This cool bit of software will automatically fill in the relevant fields for you, all you have to do is hit submit and move onto the next site, it will save you a hell of alot of time, it also shows you the page rank of all the sites you are submitting to.
If you don’t want to submit manually or even semi-manually using software, (like me) then I recommend either isnare.com or articlemarketer.com, both of these sites will submit your articles to thousands of directories and sites getting you alot of exposure quickly.
Now which one you opt for depends on your budget, at isnare.com you can submit 5 articles for just $10, but articlemarketer.com normally costs $239 annually which allows you to submit as many articles as you want, at the time of writing this post they have a special deal where you can pay $199 for the year and get the second year free which is a very good deal. articlemarketer.com also has a free option where you can post to 32 sites and 14,488 people.
So if you’re on a tight budget or are just testing the water, I recommend isnare.com or the free option at articlemarketer.com, if you can affoard $199 go with articlemarketer.com.
Happy promoting!

Hi Neil
regarding article submission software, maybe you can clear something up that confuses me.
With Brad Callens article submission software, he has the ‘platinum’ version with submits to around 2 million (slight exageration) sites with a single click. I wrote to him and asked the question, won’t that do more harm than good as you are creating massive duplicate content?
His support desk replied and said yes, you should not submit the same article to more than 5 directories.
So why the hec is he selling software that submits to hundreds if he advises not to submit the same article to more than 5????
Seems really bizarr to me, would really apreciate your thoughts.
cheers
Yuri
Hi Yuri,
Personally I don’t worry about duplicate content, always submit to ezinearticles.com first before submitting elsewhere, then submit to isnare, goarticles.com and articledashboard.com you could submit a different version of each article to these top directories if you want to, but for the rest of the directories I really wouldn’t worry about it.
Don’t get too hung up on the duplicate content, yes it would be great to submit a unique article to each directory but this just isn’t possible, just don’t put alot of duplicate content on your own site.
